My Bio
I consider myself a renaissance man, I favor the old stuff like sculptures, styles of paintings, architecture, machines, that sort of thing. 46 years I've been on this planet, I've seen all kinds of crazy stuff, and the things these kids keep creating on this website never ceases to amaze me. Born in Cleveland, OH. in May, 1966. Moved all around the upper part of Ohio till 1979. I moved to Charleston, WV. to help take care of my ailing grandmother. Went to school & graduated from St. Albans H.S. in 1985. Went to San Diego & lived for a short time, Lived in N.C. for a year, came back to W.V. for a spell, then moved to VA. in 1989, met my wife here, and have been here ever since. Now I work as an Avionics Tech contractor in Coatesville PA. working on sikorsky helicopters.I have two wonderful children, Daisy & Harley.

Yesterday I went to my first street festival armed with my new business cards, chair, and a canopy. I was trying to sell my barnwood wears. I got alot of compliments and handed out almost 200 of my cards but didn't sell alot. There for a time I thought I wasn't even going to break even on my $35.00 spot fee! People just weren't buying. A good friend of mine and his wife came along at the last minute and bought a wooden bench from me and made my day! It was a really nice day though, kinda hot, and didn't rain. At least I got to get some exposure, meet some fellow artists and woodworkers & exchange ideas. There was alot of beautiful & amazing th

Barn pick today

0 min read
Went to a friends old barn today with my daughter to go picking for treasures. Found quite a bit of really old stuff I can make art out of or make into decorations. Asstd horseshoes, a large tobacco basket, large wooden chicken cage, wooden folding chairs, wrenches, odd pieces and parts, old cans, large and small wooden barrels & other odds and ends. My daughter found a complete cat skeleton she says she will try to reconstruct but I have to build the display for it. Crazy kid. We got it all back home in the 'ol trusty rusty '78 Chevy pickup and washed & scrubbed everything.
